Dear Dr. Del Parkerson, I am so pleased to have discovered this website and I look forward to reading your blogs on a regular basis. I posted on Facebook your recent one on Thanksgiving you wrote Nov. 18, 2011. I am sure you remember my husband, Harry, and I visiting the Warsaw Baptist while you were interim pastor there a couple of years ago. But you and I share great memories of you officiating at my first wedding to Gordon L. Sims Oct. 21, 1961. If Gordon had lived, we would have been married 50 years this year. You also officiated at the wedding of my sister, Sandra and James Dunn’s wedding on June 23, 1963. She said you teased them and said you were going to marry them for 50 years! They are still together. We miss you.
In the Lord’s service, Eleanor Whitmore, Nov. 22, 2011
